Ruud Bronkhorst

Ruud Bronkhorst (Nedworc) is a retired economist who obtained his MA degree economics, with a specialization in development and agricultural economics, from Free University Amsterdam (Netherlands). He worked as a staff member with WFP (World Food Programme), FAO and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. Later he worked as an independent researcher. He published several articles about food aid, pastoralism and fair prices. His book ‘The Economics of Human Rights: Using the Living Income / Fair Price Approach to Combat Poverty’ appeared in 2020.
