Maria Livia Ognean

Prof. Dr. Maria Livia Ognean is the Head of Neonatology Department at Emergency Clinical County Hospital Sibiu and an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, Romania. She obtained her MD from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Târgu Mure?. Her research interests mainly include prematurity and associated conditions, neonatal nutrition, neonatal infections, neonatal neurology, guidelines and procedures in neonatology, prematurity and its complications, neonatal infections and neonatal nursing. Also, she is the Vice president of the Romanian Association of Neonatology.
