Dr Lynsey Gozna

Lynsey Gozna is a Principal Forensic Psychologist with extensive expertise in autism, complex risk, vulnerability, and forensic mental health across community, prison, secure hospital, and academic settings. She works in a community Autism Intensive Support Team, completing specialist assessments, formulation, intervention for autistic young people and adults with complex presentations, working closely with carers and multi-agency partners. She previously led psychological therapies across three prisons, developing and delivering trauma-informed services for men with complex mental health needs and extensive offending histories. Alongside her current clinical practice, she additionally teaches on the University of Exeter’s Doctorate in Forensic Psychology programme. Her interest centres on understanding the intersection of neurodivergence, risk, vulnerability, trauma, and evidence-informed practice to improve assessment, intervention, and service development for complex clients across forensic and community settings.
