Biography:

Francisco Javier Willars Rodríguez is a Materials Science researcher and a Level I member of Mexico’s National System of Researchers (SNII). His research focuses on the development of functional materials and devices for energy and optoelectronic applications, with expertise in hybrid solar systems, semiconductor thin-film synthesis and characterization, broadband photodetectors, and the study of dopant effects in optoelectronic devices. He has contributed to research projects centered on solar energy conversion and advanced materials engineering, and he has authored and co-author of scientific articles published in international peer-reviewed journals, including International Journal of Energy Research and Journal of Alloys and Compounds. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at CICATA-Querétaro, National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), Mexico, where he develops technology-oriented materials solutions with emphasis on energy, sustainability, and environmental applications.
