Rodica Elena Petrea, MD

Dr. Rodica Elena Petrea is an international neurologist specializing in stroke, vascular dementia, and cerebrovascular diseases. She earned her MD from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Romania, and is board-certified in neurology in both Romania and the United States. Her research focuses on stroke prevention, vascular risk factors, brain aging, heart-brain syndromes, and vascular dementia. Dr. Petrea has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications, contributed book chapters, and delivered more than 100 scientific presentations at national and international conferences. She has held faculty positions at the University of Kentucky, Creighton University, and California Touro University, and currently practices with Access TeleCare in the United States.
