Dr. Mahmuda Monowara

Dr. Mahmuda Monowara is a dedicated radiologist specializing in pediatric imaging at Shishu Children’s Hospital, one of Bangladesh’s premier institutions for child healthcare. She earned her MBBS from Armed Forces Medical College, Dhaka, and completed her M.Phil. in Radiology and Imaging from Dhaka University, equipping her with advanced expertise in diagnostic imaging.
With over a decade of clinical experience, Dr. Monowara has contributed to the field through 15 publications in national and international journals. Her research focuses on improving diagnostic accuracy in pediatric conditions, including her recent work on the sensitivity and specificity of barium enema in diagnosing Hirschsprung disease.
