Adison Wong Choon Kit

Dr. Adison Wong is a synthetic biologist, with a background in chemical engineering and biotechnology. His seminal works on the genetic reprogramming of biological systems were featured by over hundreds of news agencies worldwide. He had won numerous accolades, including awards from the European Molecular Biology Organization, Singapore Straits Times and Ministry of Education Singapore. He currently serves as an associate editor of the scientific journal, Engineering Biology, and executive member to the Society of Synthetic Biology Singapore and the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers Singapore. He values volunteering opportunities to serve community and people and aspires to create value through biotechnology. His research interests are genomics, novel foods, sustainable biomanufacturing and biosensors.
