Biography:
Dr. Resmi L is an accomplished plant scientist and Assistant Professor in the Genetics & Plant Breeding Division, Department of Botany, University of Calicut, Kerala, India. She earned her Ph.D. in Botany from the University of Kerala (2011), with her doctoral thesis on the genome classification of Musa cultivars from Kerala. She later pursued post-doctoral research under the UGC Research Award scheme (2012–2014), focusing on the identification of candidate genes for drought tolerance in banana.
